Bayline is workshop management for garages. This app is the shop-floor half of it, built for the people actually doing the work rather than the office. Open it and you see the jobs on today, which bay each car is in, and what is still outstanding on the one in front of you. Tick the checklist off as you go. A job will not move to ready for collection while anything on the list is unfinished, so nothing gets handed back half done. What you can do from your phone: - See today's jobs and the bay each car is sitting in - Work through the job checklist and the pre and post checks - Log your hours and the parts you fitted as you fit them - Photograph the car and attach the pictures to the job - Look up the customer and the vehicle, including MOT history - Message the rest of the team about a job - Get a notification when a job is assigned to you or a car is ready - Run mobile jobs out on the road, not just work in the bays Bayline needs a Bayline account. Your garage signs up at bayline.work, adds you as a member of staff, and you sign in here. There is a 14-day free trial and nothing to install on the workshop side. The office side runs in a browser: the bay board, quotes, invoicing, parts ordering, customer records and the rest. Whatever you record on your phone shows up there straight away, and whatever the front desk books in shows up here.
