Battler Golf League is competitive social golf for everyday players, not scratch golfers. You and a mate make a team, play monthly Ambrose matches at local courses, and climb the ladder across a six month season. The top teams win a luxury interstate golf trip. This app is where the league lives once you are in. It is built for players who have registered a team at thebgl.com.au. If you have not joined a league yet, head there first and grab your spot, then log in here. What you can do in the app: - See your fixtures for every round and who you are up against - Score your round hole by hole as you play, live - Watch the ladder move after each round and track where your team sits - Check your team profile, your teammate, and your handicaps - Chat with your opponents to lock in when and where you are playing - Get a nudge when a new fixture drops or it is your turn to score The format is two person Ambrose, so both of you tee off, you take the best ball, and you both play from there. It rewards teamwork over raw talent, which is why it suits battlers in the 10 to 36 handicap range rather than the club champions. We built this because we wanted something more to play for on a Saturday than a slab of beer. Real matches, a real ladder, and a proper trip on the line for the team that finishes on top.
