Store description excerpt

Long before forecasts came from a satellite, sailors and farmers read the same instrument: the barometer. Baromera Sky puts that same needle back in your pocket, glowing on a dark storm-glass dial, and does the arithmetic your grandfather's glass never could. Open Live and, if your phone carries a pressure sensor, you'll watch the dial sweep in real time across a 970–1050 hPa range, the reading updating as fast as the hardware reports it. No sensor on board? The app quietly swaps in a manual entry card instead, same log button, no fuss. Either way, one tap writes the reading to your log. Log keeps every pressure reading and every sky note you add — clear, partly cloudy, overcast, rain, snow, fog, whatever you saw out the window — merged into one newest-first timeline. Swipe or tap the delete icon to prune either kind of entry. Trend is where the needle earns its keep. A small on-device regression looks at your last 24 hours of readings, works out the slope in hectopascals per three hours, and calls it: rising rapidly, rising, steady, falling, or falling rapidly — the same bands old ships' logs used, each with a plain- English line about what it likely means for the sky ahead. A glowing line chart traces the same window underneath, its most recent stretch tinted amber when the glass is dropping and cyan when it's holding or climbing. The app arrives with a handful of readings already logged, gently falling over the last 18 hours, so Log and Trend have something to show you on the very first look!
