BareGPS Scotland is a practical field-use hillwalking app for navigation, browsing hills on all the major hill lists, including Munro's, Marilyn's & Corbetts, and recording GPX tracks. It keeps the map central and avoids account requirements, advertising, tracking, social features, or unnecessary data collection. Use the map to inspect hill locations, height, prominence, classifications, and coordinates. Choose how coordinates are displayed, including British National Grid, Lat/Long, MGRS, or UTM. Record or import GPX tracks, save waypoints, cache supported map layers for poor-signal days, and use simple Go To tools for hills, selected map points, and saved waypoints. Features include: - hill markers with height, prominence, region, coordinate and distance details - hill filters and personal completion logging of all major hills and hill lists from the DoBIH (Database of British & Irish Hills) - GPX track recording, import, display, export, and saved GPX management - Go To tools for hills, saved waypoints, and selected map points - saved waypoints - search hills from map or Log Register screen - map layers from Opentopo, OpenStreetMap and Satellite - supported map layer caching for use, prior to walk, where signal is likely to be limited - weather access where coverage available - coordinate display choices: British National Grid, Lat/Long, MGRS, and UTM
