Store description excerpt
There are thousands of joseki. But the ones you want to memorize right now are just a few. Baduk(Go) Joseki Trainer is not a joseki dictionary. When you come across a sequence worth remembering in a book or a game record, you enter it yourself and build your own memorization deck. ■ How it works 1. Tap the board to place the sequence. Stones are numbered in order, just like in books. 2. Give it a name and save it. 3. To review, choose whether you play Black or White. Your opponent's moves are played automatically, and you play your own. Wrong moves are flagged immediately. ■ Features · Enter joseki move by move on a 19x19 board, with real Go rules (captures, no suicide) · Corner zoom for accurate placement on a phone screen · View mode — see the full numbered sequence, or step through it one move at a time · Review mode — play your color move by move, with a hint when you get stuck · Random position review — a joseki entered in one corner is rotated and mirrored so it appears in any corner · Exam mode — all saved joseki in random order, position, and color, with a summary · Review statistics — attempts, mistakes, and last review date for each joseki · Folders and sorting · SGF import · Backup export and import · Four languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese ■ Please note This app ships with no joseki data. It stores only what you enter yourself. Each joseki holds a single line of play; save branching variations separately.
