Backgammon with a coach. Play a match offline, then see exactly which move cost you the game — and what you should have played instead. No chips. No buy-ins. No ads. No accounts. No internet. Nothing leaves your phone. A REAL ENGINE The opponent is driven by neural networks running on your device, the same kind of evaluation used by serious backgammon software, not a pile of if-statements. Seven levels, from someone still learning the moves to one that always plays its best move. Weaker levels play like weaker humans: sound most of the time, with real mistakes in between, rather than random nonsense. SEE WHAT YOUR MOVES COST After each match, every decision is scored by how much equity it gave up. The review lists your turns, flags the ones worth a second look, and shows the play the engine would have made on the same board next to your own. DRILLS FROM YOUR OWN GAMES Drills are not stock puzzles. They are the exact positions you got wrong, served back to you until you stop getting them wrong. NEVER PLAYED BEFORE? Six short lessons teach the whole game on a real board: moving, making a point, hitting, coming back from the bar, and bearing off. You play each one yourself; nothing is a video. ENGLISH AND PERSIAN The whole app speaks both, including a full right-to-left layout. Switch language in Settings. BUILT FOR THE PHONE Two looks, both minimal. Table is warm paper with a real wooden board, built so a beginner can read the position across the screen; Midnight is committed black for playing in the dark. Tap a checker, tap where it goes. Throw the dice by picking them up. Colourblind-safe checkers, haptics and sound you can switch off, and a full rules reference for anyone who has never played. WORKS ANYWHERE Everything runs on your device. No account required, no network needed, nothing uploaded. Your matches are yours. Takhtehnar plays standard backgammon: the doubling cube, gammons and backgammons, match play, and the Crawford rule.
