The quality and freshness of our baked goods are our top priority – this includes: our sourdough starters, which we cultivate ourselves daily; and our recipes, which use only the finest ingredients, sourced as locally as possible. Our production methods, which we are constantly developing and improving. Our selection includes around 100 different handcrafted items every day, which change seasonally. More than 20 varieties of bread and rolls, a tempting assortment of cakes and creams, as well as numerous savory snacks are available for you to choose from daily. Over 40 Engel locations – Each one unique If you're looking for an Engel in your area, you won't have to search for long. Our current 44 branches and cafés are spread throughout the Weserbergland region – from Detmold to Eschershausen, from Bad Pyrmont via Hameln to Beverungen. Just like our handmade Engel baked goods, our branches and cafés are truly unique. Our Engel cafés offer a wide selection of coffees and cakes, as well as a delicious breakfast menu. The highlight: our tower breakfast. Almost all of our branches are equipped with outdoor seating – so you can enjoy an iced coffee outside in the summer and a hot chocolate in the café in the winter.
