Store description excerpt
Pregnancy isn't a chart to fill in. It's a story, and the people who love you should get to live it with you. BabyCheers is where you follow your baby's week, keep the moments worth keeping, and hand your family the big news as something they open together. Invite only. No feed, no strangers, no algorithm. FOLLOW YOUR WEEK Open BabyCheers and see where you are. Every week from 4 to 40 has its own illustration, what your baby is around the size of, and a short note on what's developing around this stage. Scroll the weeks to look ahead, or back at where you've been. Each one holds a few small discoveries, the week sounds start getting through, the week there's already a rhythm of sleeping and waking, written plainly and drawn from public health sources. KEEP THE MOMENTS The first ultrasound. The first kick. The bump photo you take every few weeks. The name you finally agreed on. Add a moment with photos and a few words, and it takes its place on one timeline running from your first trimester to your due date with halfway, full term and the due date already marked for you. Not sure what to add? BabyCheers suggests moments that suit the week you're in, from the first heartbeat to the hospital bag. MAKE THE REVEAL SOMETHING THEY PLAY This is the part nobody else does. Write two to five options - boy or girl, three names you're deciding between, anything you like. Seal the real one. Your family sees every option and never which. Then choose how it opens: scratch a lotto card, spin the wheel, pop the balloons, or trace the signal. Try it first with a practice run. Until the moment arrives, everyone can put a guess in - and you'll see how the room is split without seeing who said what. At the time you set, the card opens for everyone at once. Whoever taps first taps for all of you. And if you'd rather find out with them, hand the phone to someone who knows and let them seal it. The answer doesn't come back to you either. SHARE IT WITH THE PEOPLE YOU CHOSE Invite family and friends by link. They add their name and how they're related, and they turn up on your following list Grandma, Auntie Sam, the friend who has been asking since week 6. They cheer. They comment. They play the reveal from wherever they are. Every moment is yours to place: share it with everyone following, keep it private, or leave one person out. Send a single card to someone who isn't following at all. There's no public profile, no discovery, and no way for a stranger to find your journey. ALSO IN BABYCHEERS • Bring your partner in, so it's both your journey • A note when someone cheers, comments or joins and when a reveal is about to open • Your due date from your last period, if that's the number you have • Delete a moment, or the whole journey, whenever you want Nine months is a lot of small news. This is where you tell it to the people who are glad to hear it.
