Which food did you try first, and how did your baby react that day? Starting solids is a lot to keep in your head. Baby Meals logs the meals and watches every new food for three days so you do not have to remember. ■ Three days of watching for every new food Save a meal that contains a food your baby has never had, and the three day watch starts right there. From the next day on, one box a day: just mark whether anything happened. Three quiet days and the food moves up to Safe. One symptom and it is marked Allergic straight away. Symptoms you can tag: Rash, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Hives, Other. ■ Ingredient library 94 foods commonly used for weaning are already in the app, from rice and beef to broccoli, apple and pumpkin. They are sorted into Grains, Meat, Seafood, Vegetables, Fruit, Dairy, Legumes and Other, and every food carries one of four states: Not tried, Watching, Safe, Allergic. 31 of them are common allergens such as wheat flour, milk, peanut and shrimp, and they are flagged so you look twice before the first spoonful. Anything missing from the list you can add yourself. ■ Meal log Date and time, weaning stage, the foods, how much was eaten and how your baby reacted. One photo per meal, plus a note if you want. The stage follows your baby's birthday and moves through Early, Middle, Late and Final on its own, or you can set it yourself. Pick a food already marked Allergic and the app tells you before it saves. ■ Calendar and stats Tap any day in the calendar to see that day's meals, and fill in past days you missed. Stats cover this week and this month: new foods tried, meals logged, the foods your baby ate well and the ones that did not go down. ■ A reminder so it does not slip Once a day at the time you choose, if a food is still being watched. Change the time or turn it off whenever you like. ■ Everything stays on this device No account, no sign in. What you write stays on the device and is never sent to a server. It works the same with no connection at all. ■ Premium (one time purchase) No ads Multiple babies CSV export Home screen widget The app follows your system theme, or you can pick light or dark yourself.
