Store description excerpt

Requires AirPods (3rd generation), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max or Beats Fit Pro. Most headphones cannot do this. Most posture apps score you against the position you started in. If you begin a session already hunched over a laptop, they call that hunched position "good" and congratulate you for holding it. Axis doesn't do that. Your headphones already contain the motion sensors Apple built for spatial audio. Axis reads them and measures your neck against a fixed upright neutral: neck vertical, ears over your shoulders, gaze level. Ninety degrees. That target never moves, so your score means the same thing on every session, on every day. LEADS WITH THE FIX, NOT THE NUMBER A session doesn't end with a grade. It ends with the single change most worth making, and the evidence behind it. "Raise your screen. Your head sat 26° forward for almost the whole session and barely moved. A steady angle like that comes from where the screen is, not from how hard you were concentrating." Axis can tell those apart. A neck that starts upright and sinks over an hour is fatigue, and the fix is your chair and your break cadence. A neck that sits at the same deep angle the whole time is furniture, and the fix is screen height. Same average angle, completely different problem. If the same finding comes back three sessions running, Axis says so. A problem that keeps returning is the strongest argument for actually changing something. BUILT FOR SITTING AT A COMPUTER Axis is for desk work, and only desk work. Not walking, not driving, not workouts, not sleep. Away from a desk your head moves constantly and for good reasons, so a posture reading there would be noise. It knows when you've left. Walk away mid-session and Axis pauses rather than recording your kitchen trip as terrible posture. Time it didn't measure never counts toward your score. HONEST BY DESIGN - One calibration learns how your headphones sit in your ears, so your neutral is yours and not an average. - If your desk can't reach neutral, Axis tells you why and shows you the fix, then lets you track anyway with honest low scores. - If your headphones stop reporting, it says so and stops counting. It will never credit you with posture it didn't measure. - Every session shows the full breakdown: time at neutral, time drifting, time with your head forward, and your longest unbroken stretch. Three sensitivity levels, from textbook-strict to forgiving while your setup is still a work in progress. WHAT YOU NEED Supported headphones, connected and worn: - AirPods (3rd generation) - AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generation) - AirPods Max - Beats Fit Pro Most other headphones cannot do this. The motion sensors Axis needs are specific to these models. Leave Axis open on the desk beside you. It keeps the screen awake for the length of a session, so you can work normally without touching your phone.
