Store description excerpt
AXIS is a training analysis platform designed for Japanese long-distance running and ekiden (relay) teams. It was developed by athletes specializing in sports science, athletic rehabilitation, and data & AI engineering. While GPS watches have become widespread, recording data and using that data to improve athletic performance are two different things. As the level of competition increases, the difference that can be improved becomes smaller. AXIS provides an environment for capturing those small changes and repeatedly testing hypotheses using data. ■ Designed for team management, not individual analysis Many overseas analysis tools are optimized for running as an individual sport. The operation of Japanese long-distance running and ekiden, where everyone performs the same training menu and the team is managed while comparing the condition of each individual, falls outside the scope of these designs. AXIS was created starting from that point. - Create training menus and distribute them to individual athletes and training groups. - View the progress of all team members on a weekly calendar. - Track the completion rate of key training sessions to confirm whether they are progressing as intended. - Get an overview of the team's overall fatigue level and identify athletes who are outside their normal range. - Compare the performance of athletes who have completed the same menu. - Filter by training group and grade level to view only the necessary information. - Separate the scope of information that coaches, staff, and athletes can access. - Record post-training feedback and the coach's response. ■ Analyze running in 1-second increments. - Read an entire training session as a 1-second time series, analyzing pace, heart rate, cadence, ground contact time, etc. - Arrange the variance for each lap to identify slowdowns in the later stages or breakdowns in pace control. - Register repeatedly run courses as sections and compare them to past performances under the same conditions. - Extract best values for each distance from watch logs and track improvement. ■ Continuously track physiological indicators: * Create a profile from lactate measurements and track changes in the lactate threshold. * Capture changes in running economy from the relationship between heart rate and pace. * Check recovery status by comparing resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and sleep. * Check training volume adequacy from body composition and dietary records. * Record injury progress and compare it with training content before and after the injury. ■ Verification throughout the season: * Track changes in training volume and intensity on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis. * Record personal bests for each event and their improvement history. * Analyze race and record-breaking event results alongside the training content leading up to them. * Combine arbitrary indicators to investigate team-specific trends yourself. ■ Data Import: Supports .fit files from GPS
