ONE CLICK, THEN IT LOOKS AFTER ITSELF Click once. Your Mac stays awake for exactly as long as you set, then goes back to sleep on its own. No digging through System Settings, no leaving "Never sleep" on for days, no menu-bar maze to learn. END IT HOW YOU WANT - After a duration ("for 5 hours") - At a clock time ("until 8 a.m.") - While a specific app is running - When the battery drops below a threshold you pick - Or leave it open-ended and stop it yourself WATCH IT FROM YOUR PHONE Awake Qubit comes with a paired iPhone and iPad companion, which the old menu-bar apps simply don't have. One tappable pill shows the session state, the apps your Mac has open, and a health row that names exactly what's broken if the connection drops. From anywhere you can start, extend or stop a session, and lock the screen without ending the run. ALERTS THAT MATTER, FREE FOR EVERYONE Your Mac tells your phone when it's overheating, when the battery is very low, and when the disk is nearly full. It also tells you if the Mac went to sleep anyway, so a failed overnight run never surprises you in the morning. Pro adds the battery drain rate, the time you have left, and an End Session button on the alert itself. SMART SUGGESTIONS Awake Qubit learns the durations you actually pick and suggests them, computed on your Mac and never sent anywhere. One tap instead of guessing a number. SMART PAUSE The countdown freezes while you're actively using the Mac and picks up when you step away, so a session you started for a long job doesn't quietly expire while you're still at the desk. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO We would rather you know before you download: - It watches whether an app is running, not whether the work inside it finished. It can't tell that your build or render is complete. - Closing the lid with no external display sleeps the Mac no matter what. - Your iPhone can't wake a sleeping Mac. - It prevents idle sleep only, and quitting the app ends the session. - One Mac at a time. NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVERS. JUST YOUR ICLOUD. Your Mac and iPhone connect through your own private Apple iCloud, the same technology behind Messages and Notes. There is no Awake Qubit account to create and no Awake Qubit server storing your activity. Session data travels and rests encrypted, and the sensitive parts, the apps you watch and your device names, get extra encryption only your own devices can unlock. The app handles your sessions and nothing else. It can't read your photos, your files, or other apps' data.
