MATERIALS AND VOLUME Concrete Quantities — slabs and post holes Gravel — depth and area to tonnes Soil — beds and fill by volume Asphalt — area and depth to tonnes Decking — boards, gaps and total lineal metres FRAMING AND LAYOUT Stairs — rise, going, base length and stringer Raked Walls — stud lengths up a sloping top plate Baluster Spacing — even gaps with a full set-out table Equal Spacings — split any run into equal parts Running Measurements — set out from one datum Check Square — 3-4-5 and diagonals ANGLES AND LEVELS Pitch — degrees, ratio, percent and rise per metre Triangles — solve any triangle from what you know Dumpy Level — reduce levels from staff readings METRIC OR IMPERIAL Pick your system when you first open the app and switch any time from the top of any calculator. Feet, inches and fractions are typed the way you say them. Choose whole numbers, one decimal or two.
