This app is only available for use by members of Fire and Emergency New Zealand. Fire and Emergency New Zealand has identified the need for accurate, real-time information about the availability of volunteers to respond to fires and emergencies. We also need to know who is responding to a request to attend an incident so we can ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. AMS uses your device location in the background to enable tracking your location when responding to an incident, and determining if you are leaving your station's immediate response area, even when the app is closed or not in use. You can disallow or disable this option at any time through the status tab in the AMS app. Get the most out of AMS: - Automatically maps incident location. - Indicate an incident response so your brigade members know exactly who is responding and how far away you are. - In-brigade messaging functionality. - Brigade and incident threshold alerts. - Ability to schedule availability.
