Store description excerpt
ATL Crime Dashboard puts the Atlanta Police Department's public incident data into a fast, filterable dashboard — on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Nearly 300,000 reported incidents, from 2021 through today. Narrow them down by date, offense, and neighborhood, and every chart, map, and table on screen redraws to match. FILTER SIX WAYS • Report date — All time, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 12 months, Year to date, or a custom range • Crime Against — Person, Property, or Society • Crime Grouping — 29 categories, from Theft From Auto to Assault Offenses • NIBRS Offense — 58 specific offense types • Neighborhood — all 248 Atlanta neighborhoods, searchable • Location Type — 47 settings, from apartments to parking lots Combine filters freely. Selections stack, and the matching record count updates as you go. SEE THE PATTERNS • Incident totals by Crime Against, with each category's share of the whole • A donut chart with percentage labels • Firearm involvement at a glance • A ranked bar chart of the leading crime groupings • An area chart across all 12 APD districts EXPLORE THE MAP Every geocoded incident matching your filters, plotted by latitude and longitude. Incidents involving a firearm are marked in red. Tap any pin for the offense, address, date, and neighborhood. READ THE RECORDS A detail table with 16 columns — report date, occurrence window, firearm involvement, crime grouping, victim count, day of week, neighborhood, district, NIBRS offense, family-violence indicator, street address, location type, and coordinates. Load more in batches of 250. BUILT FOR EVERY SCREEN Filters side by side with your data on Mac and iPad; one tap away on iPhone. Native SwiftUI throughout. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no tracking, no data collection. Location access is optional, used only to center the map on your device, and never transmitted anywhere. ABOUT THE DATA Incident records come from the City of Atlanta's public open data service and are refreshed each time you open the app. Data reflects incidents as reported and may be revised or reclassified after publication. Some records are missing coordinates or neighborhood assignments and will not appear on the map. The map displays up to the 2,000 most recent incidents matching your filters. This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Atlanta Police Department or the City of Atlanta.
