Assetly is a personal asset book that runs entirely on your device. No account, no login, no server. You open the app and start using it immediately. Cash, bank accounts, savings accounts, gold, stocks, crypto, and anything else you declare yourself — all in one place, adding up to a number you truly trust. YOUR DATA, ON YOUR DEVICE • No servers to send data to. Assetly has no user accounts. • Databases are encrypted using SQLCipher (AES-256) directly on your device. • PIN or fingerprint/face lock. • Multitasking preview image is masked, so balances aren't visible when you switch apps. • "Hide balance" button for when you're sitting next to someone else. • No access to contacts, location, or messages. The app doesn't ask for things it doesn't need. WHAT YOU CAN TRACK • Money & Accounts — multiple accounts, transfers, deposits and withdrawals. • Savings — terms, interest rates, maturity dates, settlement and renewal. • Stocks & Crypto — buy, sell, cost basis, profit/loss for each asset. • Gold — by tael, ounce, or your own defined unit. • Other Assets — real estate, cars, collectibles, loans… you create your own portfolio. BOOKKEEPING NEVER DISCREPANCY Assetly records using double-entry bookkeeping, just like real accounting software. Buying gold with money in your account will decrease the account balance by exactly the amount of gold gained. Money doesn't create itself or disappear. There's a Reconciliation screen to check if your current balance matches the ledger — and if there's a discrepancy, it shows where the discrepancy is. UNDERSTANDING YOUR PORTFOLIO • Total assets, allocated by group, change compared to the previous month. • Realized annual return (XIRR) — takes into account the timing of cash inflows and outflows, different from gross profit/loss. • The biggest increase/decrease in the portfolio. • Monthly cash inflows/outflows. • Target weightings you set, and the app shows which group is deviating by how much. • Snapshots to review how your assets have performed over time. PLANNING & REMINDERS • Monthly plan: capital allocation targets, liquidity funds. • Savings account maturity reminders — notices in advance, on the correct date, and even when overdue. • End-of-month checklist, only displayed on the last days of the month. • Your own investment rules, written down so you don't forget. REAL BACKUP • Export all data to a JSON file, share it wherever you want. • Save the file to your device's Downloads folder — it survives even if you uninstall the app. • Automatic backups at your chosen interval. • Import from the file at any time, grouped by ID to avoid duplicates. • Frank note: the backup file is plain JSON, not encrypted. Anyone who opens the file can access your records. Keep it private. CONVENIENT • Vietnamese and English. • Light, dark, or system-based.
