We are very excited to announce the ASCE Florida Section 2026 Annual Conference is taking place July 22-23, 2026 at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. The Florida Section Annual Conference brings 90+ technical and professional development sessions in 7 tracks of engineering: structural, geotechnical, environmental & water resources, transportation, utilities, sustainability and professional development. The conference offers something for everyone, including our growing number of student members. We offer ½ day geared towards them and our younger members. The technical sessions offered are in 25-minute and 50-minute blocks. In addition, the state required two-hour Laws/Rules & Ethics course will be offered. The Florida Section, consisting of 13 Branches, 18 technical institute chapters and technical groups, 12 Student Chapters and over 8,000 members, was founded in 1929 and is one of the most active sections within the Society. The South Florida Section is no longer, but is not forgotten; founded in 1926, it was merged with the Florida Section in 1999, and continues on with us as the Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Southwest Branches.
