Ask for a photo of somewhere you're not — and someone who is there right now will take it for you. As Is Right Now is a community of people photographing for each other, in real time. How it works: Drop a pin on the map and ask for a photo Someone nearby with "available to shoot" on gets a notification and shoots The moment the photo is taken it's yours — as is, right now A request stays open for a short time only, and that is the whole point: the photo shows the place now, not a year ago. You can be the photographer too: Wherever you are, someone may be asking to see it. Turn on "available to shoot" and you'll be notified when a request appears near you — and you choose the range. Every shot earns coins, and coins are what you spend to post requests of your own. 🧩 "Where?" — the guessing game Shot somewhere hard to place? Post it as a puzzle. The photo goes up without its location, and everyone else tries to find it on the map. When you're guessing: - You get a photo with no clue where it belongs - Tap the map — standard view or satellite - Lock in your guess and see instantly how close you got, in meters or kilometers - The closer the guess, the more points you score When you create a puzzle: - You pin the exact spot, and every guess is measured against it - You see who guessed, the closest guess and the median - You decide when to reveal the location — until then nobody knows - Any photo you have already taken can become a puzzle There are separate leaderboards for photographers and guessers, plus a ranking for your own city — who knows it best.
