LEARNING BY PLAYING Nobody becomes a connoisseur by reading a label. The eye is trained by repetition: look, get it wrong, look again, remember. Each round puts ten real objects in front of you and gives the answer straight away, in the short window where memory works best. Round after round, shapes, styles and materials start falling into place on their own. Each step tightens the time you get to answer, from about six seconds down to three and a half. Moving up a level is the moment you stop thinking: you simply recognise.
