ArchiveDock gives you direct control over backups of the original photos and videos in Photos on iPhone and iPad. Choose a date range, media type, or album; review which originals are on the device or need iCloud; then save the backup on the device, in a Files folder, or on connected external storage. VERIFIABLE, PORTABLE BACKUPS • Copy original photo and video resources, including Live Photo pairs and RAW resources. • Create one or more independent standard ZIP/ZIP64 files. Large runs are normally split into files of about 20 GB. Each ZIP opens on its own and restores only the items assigned to it. • Store media without compression so common ZIP tools can open the files on a computer. • Include manifests and technical reports, and validate each package before a run is marked complete. • Keep local backup history with results, item counts, duration, and saved-file details. CHECK INTEGRITY ON DEVICE • Quick verification checks package structure and expected records. • Pro Custom verification adds a spot check of 5–10 exact items from the current Photos library. • Pro Standard verification checks expected originals and recorded hashes for the latest backup session. • Pro Full verification recalculates SHA-256 for all supported archived resources. RESTORE SUPPORTED ITEMS Open a completed ArchiveDock ZIP, review its contents, check for suspected duplicates, and restore supported photos and videos to Photos. You can restore to a dedicated album and optionally recreate original user-album mapping. ArchiveDock preserves creation dates, locations, and album information where Photos provides them and iOS supports restoring them. LOCAL-FIRST PRIVACY No ArchiveDock account is required. Backup, restore, duplicate review, history, and integrity checks run on the device. ArchiveDock includes no ads, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, or developer-operated photo upload service. Files go to iCloud Drive or another Files provider only when you choose that destination or share a file. Completed ZIP files are not password-encrypted and may contain sensitive media and metadata. Protect them like the originals. FREE AND PRO LIFETIME The free version supports complete backups of up to 300 Photos items per backup, Quick verification, and restoration of supported items. Pro Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes the per-backup item limit and unlocks Custom, Standard, and Full verification plus the full safe-delete candidate review. It is not a subscription. Long backups depend on available storage, iCloud download conditions, and the selected file provider. Keep ArchiveDock open and the device powered. Verify completed files, keep more than one independent copy of important media, and do not delete originals solely because a backup finished.
