Store description excerpt

Aqua Flare turns your iPhone into a fully offline Morse code training station. Built on the proven Koch method, it starts you with just two characters and unlocks the next one only when you reach 90% accuracy — the same progression used by licensed radio operators for decades. Forty characters in all: letters, numbers, punctuation, and prosigns. The Beacon Orb is your transmitter and teacher in one. It flashes real Morse at the exact timing your current speed demands. In Receive mode you identify each flash from your unlocked character set; in Send mode you tap the Orb itself like a straight key and the app decodes your timing live. Every session ends with a letter grade, accuracy percentage, effective words-per-minute, and a per-character heat map so you always know what to drill next. Adjust speed from 5 to 40 WPM at any time, with optional Farnsworth spacing to ease the transition for beginners. Between sessions, the Composer lets you type any message, watch it rendered as a Morse timeline, play it through the Orb, and export a styled Signal Card to your photo library. The Codebook gives you a searchable reference for every character with its dot-dash glyph — all playable on demand. Your Field Log tracks every drill result, saved transmission, and attached photo, grouping them by date so your progress is always at a glance. Everything runs on your device. No account. No subscription. No connection required — ever.
