The App Pavlos application was developed by the Geoinformatics Laboratory (LabGeo) of AUTH and offers a combination of cartographic tools and augmented reality (AR) with the aim of highlighting the life, work and cultural heritage associated with the Apostle Paul in Pieria and Macedonia. Using digital maps and AR experiences, the app guides the user in the "Footsteps of the Apostle Paul", connecting natural places, monuments and landscapes with their historical and religious context. Features & Functions - Educational and cultural content about the life and work of the Apostle Paul - Integration of Google Maps for easy navigation - Use location for precise guidance to points of interest - Access the camera to view and interact with augmented reality (AR) content - AR experiences that enrich the visit with information and visual material Privacy & Data The application does not collect, store or share personal data. - Location information remains on the device. - Camera images/videos are used exclusively for AR functions and are not saved. -Google may process anonymous data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Educational & Cultural Use The App Pavlos application was developed in the framework of cooperation between the Central Macedonia Region and AUTH, with the aim of highlighting the cultural and religious heritage of the region through new technologies.
