Anthropology is a scientific discipline that stands at the crossroads of scientific knowledge, between social sciences and humanities. As an introduction to studying anthropology, this book provides basic knowledge of anthropology to students while training anthropological thinking. This book presents three main topics which are chapters in this book (1) Introduction to Anthropology; (2) Scope of Anthropology; (3) Ethnography. This book is used with teachers in the learning process. Apart from the secondary sources listed in this book, students should also complete them by reading ethnographic works from primary sources or books from several anthropologists discussed in this book. Of course, this book cannot replace students' field experiences or ethnographic experiences. However, this book can at least frame and become a road map for students in studying anthropology. This book is prepared in accordance with Learning Outcomes which emphasizes the formation of aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills that are integrated in the discussion of material, worksheets, enrichment and anthropology corners as well as assessments that emphasize Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The Pancasila Student Profile is substantially included in the discussions and worksheets in this book which elaborate on four main issues: environmental awareness, nutrition and nutrition, digital security, and financial literacy.
