Store description excerpt

Anila is a breathwork app you can make your own — and it's beautiful enough that you'll want to. Start in one tap: the Breathe tab offers a practice suited to the time of day, and a luminous orb paces every breath with optional haptic taps, so you can close your eyes and simply follow the feeling. THE LIBRARY Coherent breathing, box, 4-7-8, the physiological sigh, extended exhale, alternate-nostril, Ujjayi, a CO₂ tolerance ladder and more — grouped by how you want to feel: Calm, Sleep, Energize, Focus, Balance. FIND YOUR PACE Slide to the breathing rate that feels easy, watch the orb take it up, then practise at exactly that rhythm — your own resonance, not a textbook's. BUILD YOUR OWN Presets and your own creations share one format, so you can assemble any pattern of inhale, hold, exhale and stillness — mixing breathwork and meditation into a single savable timeline. A DAILY ROUTINE Pin the practices you return to, and see your rhythm in the You tab: mindful minutes, your week at a glance, and a streak that only counts sessions you actually breathed. LEARN Nine long-form essays on the breath — the first five minutes, why the exhale calms, resonance, carbon dioxide, a short history of pranayama — with drawn diagrams, plus an FAQ, a full guide, and a science page with named citations and honest limitations. THE KRIYA PATH An optional, gently gated journey into a contemplative tradition, with its teachings, a glossary, and original illustrations. APPLE WATCH Standalone sessions on your wrist with haptic pacing — practise with the screen down and just feel each change of breath. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Fully offline. No account, no tracking, no ads, and no servers to send anything to. Your practice stays on your device, and completed sessions can be saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes — on your device only. Anila is for personal practice and reflection. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Some advanced practices (forceful breathing, breath holds) ask you to confirm you're set up safely before they begin. Stop and breathe normally if you ever feel dizzy or unwell.
