Store description excerpt

Angular Baseball turns one phone video of a baseball or softball swing into a coaching report you can act on — usually in about 30 seconds, and free to try. FOR PARENTS You don't have to know what a good swing looks like. Film your kid from the side with the phone you already have. The app grades 12 checkpoints across the whole swing — setup, load, stride, contact, follow-through — then tells you in plain English which one to fix first, what it's costing the swing, and the drill that fixes it. No lesson to book, no coach to wait on. FREE TO FIND OUT Every free account gets 2 swings a day and 5 a week, forever. No trial countdown, no card required to see your first full report. Pro removes the limits. WHAT THE REPORT MEASURES Pose detection tracks 33 body landmarks through every frame, then grades the mechanics against bands calibrated on elite swings: • Setup — stance width, knee flex, balance • Load — back-knee stability • Stride — timing versus launch, forward move to the pitcher • Contact — trunk lean, back elbow, front-leg brace, lead-shoulder rotation, swing plane • Follow-through — hand speed through the zone Hip-shoulder separation is measured and shown on every report, but not graded: a side-on camera can't read it reliably enough to score. Every issue is ranked high, medium, or low severity, so you know what to work on first — and every one comes back with the specific drill for it. We measure the body, not the bat. That means you get hand speed, never an invented bat-speed number, and when the camera angle can't support a clean reading the app tells you instead of guessing. SEE IT, DON'T JUST READ IT Each report comes with your swing played back in slow motion with the skeleton overlay and phase markers drawn on it, so the fault is something you can watch, not just a number on a card. Export a shareable report card when you want to send it to a coach. THE 3-WEEK FOCUS PROGRAM Start with a baseline report, pick two focus areas, and the app builds a 6-session plan: two sessions a week for three weeks — learn one cue, then the next, then both at game speed. Every session re-grades both focus metrics, so you can see a Week 1 fix holding while you work on Week 2. A Final Check re-runs the full scorecard for a real before-and-after against your baseline. DRILLS THAT MATCH THE DIAGNOSIS 20 drills across 8 focus areas, prescribed by what your swing actually showed — not a generic drill list handed to everyone. FOR PLAYERS Every swing is saved. Watch your score move, compare sessions side by side, and keep a record of what is actually improving. FOR COACHES AND TEAMS Put your players on a roster, analyze their swings, and send parents a pro-grade report under your own name. Add your own review on top of the AI grade, so the family hears it from you. Free coach accounts get one analysis per player per day, up to 20 a week.
