Welcome to the official application of the municipality of Ancy-le-Franc! Former capital of a canton of just under 1,000 inhabitants, Ancy-le-Franc is located to the east of the Yonne department in the heart of Burgundy. Crossed by Armançon and the Burgundy Canal, the town of Ancy-le-Franc ~ Cusy is now part of the "Tonnerrois en Bourgogne" community of municipalities. Our village owes its fame mainly to the Renaissance castle, made on the designs of Serlio, which still stands proudly on its territory. Ancy-le-Franc has a certain charm due to its imposing greenery and beautiful monuments, vestiges of the glorious past of this city. The various municipalities have worked tirelessly to preserve the quality of life there, by promoting the maintenance of local services and shops, the creation of a housing estate and by encouraging community life. We are fortunate to be able to benefit from many services, in particular a medical office, a nursing office, a physiotherapist, an osteopath, a pedicure-podiatrist, a nursing home, a primary school, a college, not to mention the many shops (bakeries , butchers, food, hairdressers, tobacco press, optician, pharmacy, wine cellar and local products, bars, restaurants, funeral directors, garage, post office, bank, etc.) without forgetting the city gas, the Internet Broadband (VDSL2) and mobile telephony (4G).
