anagram is back, rebuilt from scratch. A draw is a set of 3 to 7 letters plus every word you can build from them. The letters drop onto the rack one by one; slide them sideways until the order spells a word. TWO WAYS TO PLAY The Path strings together 15 journeys of 4 to 5 stages - 67 stages, 496 draws, never the same one twice. A journey moves across word lengths instead of locking into one, and stars are earned at 60%, 85% and 100% of a draw's core words. Finishing a journey opens a crowning screen. Free play draws from the whole pool - 1,735 French draws - with the length, the difficulty and the number of draws you choose. THE MOVE Picking up a tile and dropping it elsewhere costs as many moves as the number of slots it crosses. Drag it, or tap a tile then tap where it should go. The moment the letters spell a word, it falls. The chain multiplies your points with every word found in the same draw, and finding them all triggers the perfect draw. CORE AND BONUS Every draw carries two sets. The core is what is expected of you: it defines completion, stars and the perfect draw. Bonus words are everything else the dictionary knows - accepted, scored, never blocking. No valid word is ever refused. THE WORDS Two sources, two roles: a dictionary says what is acceptable, a corpus says what is findable. Acceptance comes from Grammalecte 7.0, 84,172 lemmas unfolded into nearly 560,000 forms. The core and the difficulty come from Lexique 3.83 frequencies, measured on films and books. Nothing is sorted by hand. FOUR DIFFICULTIES They build on three constraints that stack: time per draw, a move budget, and a current that forces the direction of every move and flips at a fixed interval. Discovery - 90 s, unlimited moves, free direction. To learn the gesture. Classic - 60 s, 40 moves. Every slide counts. Expert - 45 s, 26 moves, the current flips every 8 seconds. Infernal - 30 s, 18 moves, and the current never stops turning. The current never makes a draw unsolvable: pushing a letter right is the same as pushing its neighbour left. It forces you to replan the order of your moves while the clock runs. An English pack is also available, built on classic anagram groups. FIVE BACKDROPS Three layers of depth, real depth of field, five backdrops in rotation. Sounds are synthesised on the fly: no audio file is bundled. Reduce Motion is respected. OFFLINE No account, no ads, no purchases, no connection. The game runs in airplane mode. Best scores and progress stay on the device.
