ABOUT THE NAME Ambrose Hughes is a tribute to two figures — Ambrose of Milan, the fourth-century bishop whose preaching shaped the early church, and Philip Hughes, the twentieth-century theologian and biblical scholar. The name is not a person. It stands for a work of co-creation between a theologically trained writer and generative AI, prompted to work in the style, tone and theology of Timothy Keller and the Gospel Coalition, read with a charismatic sensibility.
