Ambient is a digital character — a colorful cloud that lives on your phone and syncs with your behavior patterns. Its mood changes based on how you actually live: the places you visit and the natural light you get. Explore somewhere new and spend time outside, and your cloud comes alive. Ambient is built on a simple idea: technology should pull you back into the physical world, not deeper into your screen. Your cloud is a digital bridge — a companion that encourages you to go out, explore, and be present. What it does today: • Living character — a cloud whose mood reflects the number of places you visit and your exposure to natural light • Voice notes — capture thoughts by talking to your character, stored with it • Journal — a map of where you've been, so your days become something you can see • Sensing — Ambient uses your phone's sensors (location, motion, ambient light, and the music you're listening to) to sync the character with your day A note on where we are: Ambient is an early prototype. This version shows the concept — a character that senses and reflects your life. If you download it now, you're an early user: expect rough edges, and expect to be part of shaping it. We want your ideas, reactions, and energy. Where it's going: A more embodied character that responds to your actions throughout your day, a Wear OS companion that gives your cloud a heartbeat (in private beta), and a desktop app that senses more of your world. Not in this version yet — but that's the vision you're joining. Ambient uses your location to map your journal and count the places you visit. Your data stays yours.
