AMAIA is an application designed to alert support networks and emergency services in cases of the most common incidents that affect older people in their homes. To ensure optimal operation, the app requires permissions to send SMS, make calls and access geolocation. In case of emergency, the user only needs to press the SOS button. This will activate a direct call to the help center, where a professional will provide the necessary assistance. Simultaneously, an SMS will be automatically sent to the help center control panel, including the user's geographical location, facilitating more efficient assistance management. It should be noted that only people previously registered on Mistatas.com will be able to access and use this application. The use of SMS allows alerts to be sent even without an internet connection, while direct dialing speeds up communication and subsequent emergency response.
