Based on the performance of the altcoins showing the best growth relative to Bitcoin, we provide realtime information on whether the cryptocurrency market is currently in an altcoin season. ❓ What is Index Methodology? We reference the top 100 cryptocurrencies listed on exchanges and compare them based on their 90 day moving price performance. If 75% of the top 100 cryptocurrencies outperform Bitcoin over the last 90 days, it enters the Altcoin Season. If only 25% or less outperform Bitcoin, it enters the Bitcoin Season.
