Almaden Fit turns your neighborhood into a fitness league. Someone starts a challenge and shares a code. Everyone who joins gets put on a team. From then on your workouts score points for your team automatically — the app reads them from Apple Health, so there's nothing to log and nothing to remember. HOW IT WORKS Join with a code from whoever is running your challenge. You'll land in the lobby with everyone else who's joined, and you can connect Apple Health while you wait. When the organiser starts the challenge, teams are drawn and scoring begins. Every minute you spend moving is a point for your team. Run, walk, ride, swim, lift, or stretch — if your watch or phone recorded it, it counts. YOUR STREAK Pick an activity and a weekly goal at the start. Hit it every week and your streak stays alive. It's the part of the league you control on your own, independent of how fast anyone else is. CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK Each week the organiser sets a one-off challenge — a distance, a route, a photo somewhere specific. Enter it, and they pick the winners. TEAMS AND STANDINGS A leaderboard for people and one for teams. Your own row is highlighted, and the board scrolls straight to you, so you never have to hunt for your name in a list of a hundred neighbors. ABOUT YOUR HEALTH DATA Almaden Fit reads one thing from Apple Health: your workouts. For each one it takes the type, when it started, when it ended, and how long it lasted. No route, no location, no distance, no calories, no heart rate, no step count. It has no write access and never changes anything in Apple Health. You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from inside the app at any time.
