Akto is the companion app for Akto Space, the relaxation rooms installed in workplaces, gyms, and public venues. If your organisation has an Akto Space, you can use the app to book sessions and track your wellness journey over time. Book Your Session Check availability, reserve your preferred time, and manage your bookings in just a few taps. Your upcoming sessions are always available on the home screen, where you can reschedule or cancel them whenever needed. Track Your Progress View your completed sessions and see how your calm level changes over time. Your Lumo Score combines your recent activity into a simple overview, making it easy to follow your wellness journey. Bio-Scan (Optional) Before a session, you can choose to perform a short, contactless Bio-Scan using your phone's front camera. Using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), Bio-Scan estimates: • Heart rate • Heart rate variability (HRV) • Breathing rate • Calm level No wearable device or physical contact is required. Bio-Scan is completely optional and only runs when you start it after giving consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time from your profile. For your privacy: • Camera frames are processed entirely on your device. • No video or images are recorded or uploaded. • Each frame is immediately reduced to anonymous colour values in memory and then discarded. • Only the numerical results of a successfully completed scan are stored in your account. If the signal quality is insufficient, Bio-Scan will ask you to try again instead of displaying unreliable results. Wellness Use Only Akto is a wellness and relaxation app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Bio-Scan provides wellness estimates only. These estimates are not medical measurements and must not be used to make healthcare decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health or any medical concerns. Getting Started Akto is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Creating an account requires an organisation referral code provided by a workplace or venue with an installed Akto Space.
