Your Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy show up to three things you are carrying, a goal, a project, a person, as a private field of light that keeps moving through the day. Setup takes about thirty seconds and requires no typing. You tap what matters, weigh it, tap how your day is going, and the field forms: a slow luminous density over a fine substrate of concentric orbital rings. IT CHANGES WITHOUT YOU FEEDING IT A center of gravity you have not touched in a week visibly decays. The field advances along a pre-computed timeline through the day and settles overnight on StandBy. You come back to re-tune something you already see a hundred times a day, not to file an entry. There are no charts, no trends, no weekly summary and no list of anything you typed. STRUCTURE FIRST, LIGHT SECOND The field is not a colour wash. Under the light sits an almost technical drawing of rings, filaments and markers, the substrate that survives where colour cannot. Lock Screen accessories render in system monochrome, so what you see there is the structure of your field: legible, not a shrunken blur. On a tinted Home Screen the linework tints and your wallpaper shows through it. MADE ON YOUR IPHONE The field is drawn by a renderer we wrote, running in Metal on every iPhone that runs iOS 26. Apple's on-device Foundation Models are used only to read optional short text into rendering parameters, on the hardware that has them; where they are absent, a deterministic mapping does the same job and the experience is identical. There is no Private Cloud Compute and no cloud model of any kind. Turn on airplane mode and use the whole app, please check. Aether is a visual instrument, not a health or therapy tool. It does not measure, interpret or diagnose anything about you. WHAT IT NEVER DOES - No account, no sign-in, no server, no sync. Nothing you name leaves the device. - No ads, ever. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDK. App Privacy is Data Not Collected. - No watermark on any widget, at any tier. - Written reflections are consumed into the field and discarded, never stored, never read back to you. - The only way anything leaves your phone is the system share sheet, by your hand.
