Actuali is a native iOS client for Actual Budget, the local-first, open-source personal finance app. Connect to the Actual server you already self-host and budget from your phone, online or off, using the same CRDT sync protocol as Actual's desktop client. Budgeting • Category budgeting: budgeted vs. spent for the month, no month-end surprises • Move money between categories or cover overspending in a tap • Quick math in the amount field (+, −, ×, ÷) • Split transactions, with a live remainder as you enter lines • Notes on accounts and categories Accounts & transactions • Create accounts, log expenses, deposits, and transfers • Reconcile balances and hide cleared transactions • Hide balances app-wide when you don't want amounts on screen Reports • Net worth and spending reports, with multiple dashboards to switch between Automate with Shortcuts • Log a transaction automatically, e.g. the moment you tap to pay with Apple Wallet • Open a prefilled add-transaction form from a Shortcut • Pick transactions to import from Apple Card, Cash, or Savings • Remembers where you transact, so it can suggest nearby payees Connect your way • Sign in with OAuth or a password • Full support for encrypted budget files • Switch between multiple budget files in one app Works offline. Every budget lives locally in SQLite. Record a transaction with no connection and it syncs the moment you're back online, background refresh and on-device notifications keep things current without you opening the app. Your data, your server. Actuali talks only to the Actual Budget server you configure, nothing else. No analytics, no personal data collected. Try it first. No server yet? Open Settings and tap "Try the demo budget" to load a fully populated sample budget and explore every feature offline. Also included: iPad support, Light & Dark mode. Requirements: your own Actual Budget server (actualbudget.org) to sync. Actuali is an independent companion client and isn't affiliated with the Actual Budget project.
