Store description excerpt

Ace the Test turns the US naturalization civics test into short lessons you can finish in a few minutes, and tracks what you actually know rather than what you have merely seen. BOTH VERSIONS OF THE TEST USCIS replaced the 2008 civics test with a 2025 version, and which one applies to you depends on when you filed. Ace the Test has both, complete. - 2008 version: 100 questions across 21 lessons. The interview asks 10 and you pass at 6. - 2025 version: 128 questions across 28 lessons. The interview asks 20 and you pass at 12. Progress is kept separately for each, so switching between them never overwrites the other. COMPLETELY BILINGUAL Every question, every answer, and the entire interface in English and Spanish. All 228 questions across both versions are translated, using USCIS's own wording wherever it exists. Change language whenever you like without losing any progress. A PATH, NOT A PILE OF FLASHCARDS Questions are grouped into five-question lessons, one USCIS category at a time. Finishing a lesson unlocks the next one. You always know where you are and what comes next, which is the part a shuffled deck of cards never tells you. FOUR WAYS TO PRACTICE Multiple choice, typing the answer out, putting events in order, and matching pairs. The typed answers use a forgiving grader built around the real range of acceptable responses, so you are not failed for a missing "the" or for writing a number as a word. MEMORY HOOKS Questions come with a short note designed to make the answer stick. Not a restatement of the answer, but the detail that turns something memorized into something understood. POP QUIZ Questions drawn at random from the whole set and scored at the same bar as the real interview. Your best score, your average, and how many you have taken are all tracked. MASTERY, NOT JUST COMPLETION A question counts as mastered when you get it right twice, not once. That is the difference between a lucky guess and knowing the answer, and only the second one helps you at the interview. WORKS OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no email address, no password. Your progress lives on your phone and is never uploaded anywhere, because there is no server to upload it to. The app makes no network requests of its own. FREE Ace the Test is free, and ads are what pay for it. Ace the Test is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by USCIS or the United States government. The questions come from USCIS's published civics test materials, which are works of the United States Government and are in the public domain.
