You start as a single mote of dust in the dark. Everything around you is bigger, and most of it would swallow you whole. So you drift, you touch what you can, and you begin to grow. Accretion is a calm arcade game about growing by absorbing. Steer with one thumb. Roll over anything smaller than you and it becomes part of you. Stay clear of anything larger, because a bad hit shatters you and costs a life. That is the whole loop, and it is easy to learn in one run. Staying alive as the field fills up is the hard part. GROW BY ABSORBING Sweep up dust, pebbles, rocks, and comets. Each one adds mass. Mass is size, and size is power. The bigger you get, the more of the field opens up to you, and the more of it turns dangerous. EVOLVE AND PICK YOUR PATH The climb runs through the real stages of how a world forms, from a speck of dust to a living planet. Every time you evolve you are dealt three cards and you keep one. The cards stack across a run, so no two climbs play the same. Lean into pull and speed, into armor and shields, or into a build that is all your own. SHEPHERD MOONS Capture smaller bodies into orbit instead of eating them. A shepherd moon rides with you, widens your reach, and takes a hit that would have shattered you. Line up a few and you carry your own defense. NAMED RIVALS THAT HUNT You are not alone out here. Rival worlds grow alongside you, and some of them come looking. Named rivals track you across the field, close the gap, and try to end your run. Outgrow them, out-steer them, or turn their own moons against them. KNOWN WORLDS LEADERBOARD Every run is scored, and your best run holds your place on the Known Worlds leaderboard. Start a new world and your climb resets, so the board stays a real fight, not a pile of old high scores. OPTIONAL ADS, NEVER FORCED There are no forced ads and no ads between rounds. The only ads are rewarded ones you choose to watch: a short clip for bonus stardust, a continue after a shatter, or an extra evolution card. Skip them all, and the game is complete. Normal play is never blocked or gated on watching an ad. PLAYS OFFLINE The full game runs offline. Your progress is saved on your device, so you can play on a plane, on the subway, or anywhere with no signal. YOUR ACCOUNT FOLLOWS YOU (OPTIONAL) Sign in with an email and your run, your world, and your leaderboard rank follow you to any device. Signing in is optional. Play as a guest for as long as you like and link an account whenever you want. Free to play. One thumb. No timers shouting at you.
