Abhay gives hostel wardens a live view of their building. WHO IS IN, RIGHT NOW See every student's status at a glance — inside, out, or on leave — on a picture of your own hostel, room by room. Tap any room for its roster. THE GATE, AS IT HAPPENS Entry and exit scans from the biometric device at your gate appear in the app in real time, with a running count of today's movements. Anyone still out after curfew is flagged immediately. LEAVE, DECIDED IN A TAP Approve or reject leave requests from your phone. When a request needs both a parent and a warden, Abhay says so plainly instead of pretending it is settled. ALERTS THAT REACH YOU Push notifications for gate activity, missed curfews, new complaints and device problems — whether or not the app is open. COMPLAINTS See what students have reported, with the photo they attached, and move each one from open to resolved. FEES, WITHOUT THE SPREADSHEET Who owes what, sorted so the people behind on payments come first, with the outstanding total ready to read out on a phone call. A MONTH OF THE GATE Every day's entries and exits on a calendar. Tap a day to see exactly who scanned and when, and share it as a PDF. ANNOUNCEMENTS Write once, and it reaches parents, students, or both as a notification. ROOMS AND CARDS Every floor, every room, and who lives in it. Manage the RFID card pool from beside the device — mark a card enrolled, a fingerprint taken, or a card lost, without walking back to a desk. BUILT FOR HOSTEL PHONES Works on a phone that loses signal in a stairwell. Locks behind your fingerprint when you hand it to someone at the gate. Offline, it opens on the dashboard with the last known figures instead of failing. Abhay is used by hostels across India. You need an account from your hostel administrator to sign in. Your fingerprint never leaves the device: the scanner at the premises keeps the biometric template on-site and only sends Abhay a punch event — a time and an ID.
