AACtive is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app for people who cannot speak or use their hands freely. It can be controlled entirely with your eyes — using proprietary gaze-tracking technology based on the TrueDepth camera — or by touch. KEY FEATURES • Eye-gaze control: look at a button to activate it (dwell technology). Quick calibration takes about 20 seconds. • Touch mode: full functionality with no calibration — for users and caregivers. • Communication boards: quick dialog (yes/no), wellbeing and needs — with clear symbols and speech synthesis. • Pain assessment: a 0–10 scale and pointing to where it hurts, spoken as full sentences. • On-screen keyboards: QWERTY, alphabetical and modular — type and speak any message. • Everything is read aloud in Polish, English or German.
