苏州信托有限公司是经中国银行业监督管理委员会批准设立的具有独立法人资格的非银行金融机构。其前身是苏州市信托投资公司，最早于1991年4月经中国人民银行批准设立。2002年重新注册登记。 2008年5月20日，苏州信托获中国银行业监督管理委员会批复，引进联想控股和苏格兰皇家银行（RBS）为其战略投资人，注册资本金增至5.9亿元人民币。并且在公司治理、风险管理和项目合作等方面获得了全球性经验和资源支持。2012年，完成二次增资，注册资本金增至12亿元人民币。 苏州信托秉承“受人之托，代人理财”的宗旨，以“独具特色的财富受托人”为愿景，紧紧抓住苏州经济高平台快速发展的良好机遇，为苏州城市建设提供优质的金融支持，为客户提供特色化的信托产品和综合的理财服务。
