Source: Golden Comprehensive Abu Hatem Al-Busti (000 - 354 AH = 000 - 965 AD) Muhammad bin Hibban bin Ahmad bin Hibban bin Moaz bin Ma`bad al-Tamimi, Abu Hatim al-Basti, and he is called Ibn Hibban • Historian, sign, geographer, updater. • He was born in Best (from the country of Sijistan) and moved around the country. He traveled to Khorasan, the Levant, Egypt, Iraq and the Jazira. He assumed the jurisdiction of Samarkand for a period, then returned to Nishapur, and from there to his country, where he died at the age of eighty. • It is one of the many classifications. Yaqut said: He extracted from the sciences of hadith what others were incapable of, and the journey was in Khurasan to his compilations.
